I am a Vista refugee. Being an IT professional with access to an enterprise download before Windows 7 was released to consumers -- I hit the road and left Vista land ASAP. With my wounds licked and my expections on how long things should take being restored, I've grown to admire, trust and praise my new land.

Windows 7 is not a brave new world. It is an evolved old world, Taking lessons from Linux and Mac OS X. I've found 7 to be busier, yes, but thoughtful in design and astute in how it will play within managed Windows domain environments. I find the previews useful and not overbearing and I like the fact that I can lock it down and make it a turn key OS just like I could with XP in enterprise environments. Hooray!
